Key Responsibilities
Ensures the 800 MHz radios, CAD system, VMSs, ACS, and all other AOCC technology and software applications function efficiently and effectively on a 24/7 basis
Troubleshoots and serves as the point of contact for any technical issues and service outages reported by direct users of any AOCC technology system
Works directly with LCPA IT, LCPA Maintenance, Motorola, software application vendors and County stakeholders to ensure that issues are reported and promptly resolved
Coordinate with LCPA IT to research, identify, and implement any additional applications or technology solutions that will assist the AOCC
Creates and delivers training to AOCC personnel on the proper use and functionality of all systems
Works with the department director, airport police liaison, and airport rescue & firefighting liaison to implement CAD response configurations, map changes and updates, event types, and deployment records
Minimum Requirements
Schedule: Although this position is primarily expected on-site during business hours, it requires the ability to work different shifts (nights, weekends and holidays) depending upon the needs of the department and may be adjusted periodically. This position is subject to holdover or recall on a 24-hour basis for essential services and emergencies.
