Responsible for supporting the development and execution of initiatives aimed at enhancing the airport experience at MCO and ORL. This role will collaborate with internal teams to identify opportunities for improvement, implement new technologies, and explore creative solutions that elevate passenger journeys and operational efficiency. Assist in researching emerging trends, coordinating projects, and confirming that innovative ideas are integrated seamlessly into the airport’s operations. This role will contribute to fostering a culture of innovation while helping the airport stay competitive in delivering exceptional, forward-thinking experiences.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business Administration, Public Administration, Project Management or related field and five (5) years’ increasingly responsible experience in management of technical or sophisticated business processes. Supervisory experience helpful.
  • Expertise in managing the innovation process in areas such as smart infrastructure, passenger/bag processing solutions, customer experience design, and future-focused technologies similar to AI and IoT
  • Experience in large-scale, operational environments
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, schedule, organize, prioritize and manage multiple priorities and projects while anticipating possible impacts and benefits of change
  • Demonstrated comfort in project management and planning
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills, ability to communicate complex ideas
  • Strong analytical skills
  • The ability to prepare and/or analyze business cases and recommendations to management
  • Broad-based operational perspective to lead programs and facilitate solutions for Innovation related business initiatives
  • Demonstrated ability to engage and lead team members, providing effective guidance, coaching and capability development, maintaining close understanding of all team activities, ensuring high quality for all activities/deliverables, and implementing course corrections when needed
  • Valid Florida driver’s license
