At SFB, every flight’s success depends on what happens below the wings. As Ramp Manager, you’ll lead the charge in ensuring that aircraft turnaround is swift, safe, and efficient. You’ll not just manage operations—you’ll shape the experience of thousands of travelers, directly and visibly.
Oversee all ramp (below-wing) operations: tugs, belt loaders, bag carts, lavatory trucks, etc.
Lead, mentor, and supervise ramp operations staff; build strong teams.
Maintain safety and security compliance on ramp operations.
Monitor on-time performance and manage aircraft turnaround.
Conduct daily briefings to align staff on policies, procedures, teamwork.
Plan staffing schedules to ensure coverage across variable shifts.
Handle administrative and reporting duties: metrics tracking, data entry, escalations.
Participate in continuous improvement and planning initiatives.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in ramp operations.
High school diploma or GED required.
Strong leadership skills and experience supervising others.
Exceptional ability to coordinate multiple, high-tempo tasks.
Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
Problem-solving mindset; customer-oriented outlook.
Flexibility: willingness to work nights, weekends, holidays.
Able to work physically: stand, walk, bend, lift, push/pull; outdoors and in varying weather.
