Maintenance Dispatcher

As a Maintenance Dispatcher with the Sanford Airport Authority, you will be at the center of the action, ensuring our Maintenance team is in the right place at the right time to keep operations safe, efficient, and reliable.

What You’ll Do

• Coordinate and dispatch work orders to maintenance staff and contractors.

• Manage preventive maintenance schedules to reduce downtime and extend asset life.

• Track materials, labor, and costs to support budget control and compliance reporting.

• Respond quickly to emergency requests to minimize disruptions.

• Keep leadership informed with clear, accurate updates on maintenance activities.

What We’re Looking For

• At least 5 years of experience in maintenance, fleet, or facilities scheduling/dispatching.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.

• Knowledge of maintenance operations, safety standards, and terminology.

• Proficiency with maintenance management software (CMMS) or ability to learn quickly.

• Effective communication skills to collaborate across departments and with outside vendors.
