Airfield Maintenance Supervisor

Under the general supervision of the Airport Assistant Director of Airport Operations & Maintenance, the incumbent will plan, coordinate, direct, and evaluate the work of Airport Maintenance personnel, specifically those assigned to the airfield.  As a working supervisor, the incumbent will be engaged in regularly planned activities, airfield inspections, emergency activities, and preventive/corrective maintenance to ensure a safe and efficient operation of the Airport. The responsibilities of this position will include communication and analysis of facts and observations to assist management in decision-making. This position also serves as a backup to other functional supervisor areas and is expected to be proficient in a wide range of grounds maintenance and fleet maintenance.
