AIRPORT PROJECT SITE INSPECTOR | FULL-TIME

THE POSITION
We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail‑oriented Airport Project Site Inspector to oversee construction activities across the airfield and airport facilities.

• Conduct daily inspections of airport construction projects.
• Ensure contractor compliance with FAA, FDOT, and airport engineering standards.
• Monitor Construction Safety and Phasing Plan (CSPP) elements.
• Verify grades, elevations, and tolerances.
• Review materials, test reports, and as-built documents.
• Prepare inspection reports and document deficiencies.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, Airport Operations, FAA, and FDOT.
• Support NOTAM coordination and airfield closures.

REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma/GED required; technical coursework preferred.
• Five years of construction or engineering inspection experience.
• Ability to read plans and interpret specifications.
• Strong analytical, computer, and communication skills.

Airport Project Site Inspector – starting salary at $86,659.00.
