26-004 GENERAL AVIATION TERMINAL

The Gainesville-Alachua County Regional Airport Authority (GACRAA) is soliciting sealed bids for the
“General Aviation Terminal” project. The project includes the demolition of the existing General Aviation 
Terminal constructed in 1955 and construction of the new 14,000 SF, 2-story terminal in approximately the 
same location. The project also includes modification to the existing parking lot and access drives, new 
utilities, and a new stormwater management system.

Complete sets of the bid documents including instructions to bidders, bid forms, drawings and specifications will be available via email beginning at 12:00 P.M., Monday, April 20, 2026. Bid documents will be provided in
PDF format. The bid documents will not be provided in any other format, plan holders can order hard copy 
prints from the printing company of their choice. Bid documents may be obtained from:

A NON-MANDATORY pre-bid conference will be held on Tuesday, April 28, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at 
the Gainesville Regional Airport, Passenger Terminal, 3880 N.E. 39th Avenue, Gainesville,Florida 
32609. The Pre-Bid conference may also be attended virtually. The teleconference call-in number is

required. An escorted site visit of the project areas will be conducted as part of the pre-bid

Bids must be signed by an authorized official, enclosed in a sealed envelope or package clearly marked:
"Project No. 26-004 General Aviation Terminal” and mailed or delivered to the Authority's Administrative 
Office, Gainesville Regional Airport, Attn: Paul Mehrlich,Chief Executive Officer, 3880 N.E. 39th Avenue, Suite 
A, Gainesville, Florida 32609.

Bids are due at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, May 21, 2026 and will be publicly opened at that time. The 
official clock is located in the Authority's Administrative Office. Bids received after 3:00 p.m., 
Thursday, May 21, 2026 will not be considered. Bidder must submit one original bid package, clearly 
marked “Original” and three copies.

GACRAA reserves the right to reject any or all bids received in response to this Request for Bids as determined to be in the best interest of the Airport.
