REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP) 26-0073-LB for OPERATION, MANAGEMENT, AND MAINTENANCE SERVICES OF THE BAGGAGE HANDLING SYSTEM (BHS) AT SOUTHWEST FLORIDA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (RSW)
The Lee County Port Authority (“Authority”) invites all interested and qualified parties to provide the qualifications for the above referenced solicitation.

MANDATORY PRE-PROPOSALMEETING: A MANDATORY PRE-PROPOSAL MEETING AND MANDATORY PROJECT SITE TOUR has been scheduled for Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., local time. This meeting will be conducted in person at Lee County Port Authority located at Southwest Florida International Airport, 11000 Terminal Access Road, 3rd floor, Fort Myers, FL 33913 in the Wright Brothers Conference Room. Following the mandatory pre-proposal meeting there will be a mandatory project site tour. Only those vendors who had a representative from their firm attend the Mandatory Pre-Proposal Meeting and Mandatory Project Site Tour will have their proposal accepted. Vendors that submit a response and did not have a representative from their firm attend the Mandatory Pre-Proposal Meeting in its entirety, including the Mandatory Project Site Tour, will be disqualified.
Attendees must have the ability to communicate with the Authority at this meeting and must provide a company and representative name for the attendance register and to also be able to ask questions or request clarifications. Potential proposers planning to attend the mandatory pre-proposal meeting and mandatory project site tour scheduled for this project, should RSVP electronically through OpenGov so appropriate security escorting accommodations can be arranged.
RECEIVING AND OPENING: Bids must be received electronically through OpenGov by 2:00 p.m., Monday, September 21, 2026.
