The Jacksonville Aviation Authority (JAA) welcomes applications for the role of Risk & Insurance Compliance Manager through midnight on Thursday, August 13, 2026.
Responsible for planning, developing, implementing, and administering the Jacksonville Aviation Authority’s (JAA) comprehensive risk management, insurance, and compliance programs for the four airport facilities. The incumbent is tasked with identifying organizational risks, recommending mitigation strategies, managing JAA’s insurance portfolio, overseeing claims administration, monitoring contractual insurance compliance, and ensuring JAA’s compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations. The program manager works collaboratively with senior leadership, legal counsel, department directors, insurance brokers, carriers, tenants, contractors, governmental agencies, and third-party administrators to minimize organizational risk while protecting the JAA’s financial and operational interests.
Required Education & Experience:
Preferred Education & Experience: Extensive knowledge of insurance acquisition and management, experience in the aviation or airport industry; Risk management, insurance or related certifications are a plus.
Licenses & Certifications: Must be able to obtain and maintain a Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) badge. Florida Class E Driver’s License may be required and must be maintained.
