Mitigation Land Management Projects at Airport Mitigation Park for Lee County Port Authority
The Lee County Port Authority (“Authority”) invites all interested and qualified parties to provide the qualifications for the above referenced solicitation.

MANDATORY PRE-BID MEETING: A MANDATORY PRE-BID MEETING with MANDATORY PROJECT SITE TOUR has been scheduled for Wednesday, August 26, 2026 at 10:00 a.m., local time. This meeting will be conducted in person at Lee County Port Authority located at Southwest Florida International Airport, 11000 Terminal Access Road, 3rd floor, Fort Myers, FL 33913 in the Wright Brothers Conference Room. Attendees must have the ability to communicate with the Authority at this meeting and must provide a company and representative name for the attendance register and to also be able to ask questions or request clarifications. Bidders must have a representative from their firm attend the Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting and Mandatory Project Site Tour in its entirety in order to have their bid considered. Bidders that submit a response to this RFB that did not have a representative of their firm attend the Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting and Mandatory Project Site Tour will be disqualified.
The purpose of the Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will be to discuss the requirements and objectives of this RFB and to hear any questions for potential Bidders that may have questions about the RFB. At the Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting, the Authority may attempt to answer all questions received; however, no additions, deletions or modifications to the requirements stated herein will be made unless and until a written addendum to the RFB is issued by the Procurement Office.
The Mandatory Project Site Tour will follow the Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting. Due to site conditions, the project site areas may be inaccessible or are only accessible with 4-wheel drive vehicles. Interested attendees are to provide their own transportation that will need to be a 4-wheel vehicle. Access to the project site areas are at the attendee’s own risk. The Mandatory Project Site Tour is expected to take 3-4 hours. Attendees for the Mandatory Project Site Tour shall dress and plan accordingly. In addition, LCPA will not be liable for any vehicle damages incurred during the scheduled project site tour.
Attendees planning to attend the Mandatory Project Site Tour will need to provide a copy of their Certificate of Insurance (COI) for Automobile Liability policy. The Lee County Port Authority must be named Additional Insured with respect to the Automobile Liability policy on a Primary and Noncontributory basis and includes a Waiver of Subrogation in favor of the Authority. The certificate holder must read: Lee County Port Authority 11000 Terminal Access Road, Suite 8671, Fort Myers, FL 33913. This COI must be provided PRIOR to close of business (COB) Friday, August 21, 2026 by emailing the COI to [email protected] for review. Attendees who do not provide an acceptable (COI) for Automobile Liability policy prior to COB on August 21, 2026 will not be able to proceed with the Mandatory Project Site Tour.
